건강가정·다문화가족지원센터에서 근무하는 통번역사와 이중언어코치의 근무경험에 관한 연구

결혼이민여성의 정착이 장기화됨에 따라 자립을 중심으로 한 취업 지원에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구는 결혼이민여성들의 문화 정체성과 이중언어 강점을 살린 직종개발을 통해 창출된 일자리인 건강가정·다문화가족지원센터의 통번역사와 이중언어코치가 어떠한 경험을 하는가에 대해 내부자적 시각을 가지고 심층적으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 

1:1 면담으로 진행된 통번역사 5명과 이중언어코치 5명과의 심층 면담에서 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. ① 한국 사회에서바로 이게 나를 보여줄 수 있는 일이라는 기대감과 자부심을 갖고 현재 일을 시작함, ② 결혼이민여성의 강점을 살려 다양한 관계 속에서 중간자로 일하는 것에서 역할의 중요성을 찾고 있음, ③ 성심 성의껏 업무를 수행하는데 비해 부당한 처우는 인정받지 못함으로 느껴져 섭섭함과 아쉬움이 있음, ④ 나와 나의 가족, 결혼이민여성들이 한국에 더욱 잘 적응하고 더 나은 미래가 오기를 바라며 노력하고 있음. 

연구 결과를 바탕으로 보다 장기적인 관점에서 통번역사와 이중언어코치의 업무 수행을 뒷받침할 수 있는 방안에 대해 세 가지 제언을 하였다.

The prolonged settlement of married immigrant women has raised interests in job support centered on their self-reliance. The study explored the internal perspective of the experiences of translators and bilingual coaches at the Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Centers, which are jobs created by job development that utilizes the cultural identity and bilingual strengths of married migrant women. The results of the in-depth interview with five translators and five bilingual coaches conducted by the 1:1 interview are as follows.

I started my current job with the expectation and pride that ① this is what I can show in Korean society. ② Taking advantage of the strengths of married immigrant women, we are looking for the importance of our role in working as middlemen in various relationships. ③ Compared to performing one's duties with sincerity, unfair treatment is felt to be unrecognized, so it is regrettable and regrettable.

④ I, my family, and marriage immigrant women are trying to adapt better to Korea and hope for a better future.

Based on the results of the study, three suggestions were made on how to support translation history and bilingual coach's performance from a more long-term perspective.
